Michelle has trained with such tap masters as Brenda Buffalino,Mike Minery, Sam Weber, and the late Gregory Hines. She aslo was heavily involved with acting and theater since she was 8 years old, and is a three time national "choreographer of the year" award winner.

Her national award winning dances can be seen on ESPN and in magazines such as "Dance","Dance Spirit", and "Dance Teacher".She directed and choreographed the sold out show "Beat It Down" which starred dancers from Tap Dogs, Magic of the Dance, and 42nd St. Michelle has judged numerous dance competitions across the country

 Vicki Sanford

Vicki obtained her Associates Degree in dance, with a focus on ballet from San Joaquin Delta College, and went on to receive a Bachelor of Art Degree in Music, with a focus on music performance from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music.

Vicki's teaching experience includes all levels of tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, and modern dance. Her stage experience includes being a featured performer in "42nd Street","Annie Get Your Gun", and as the lead role in "Marian in the Music Man". She has been recognized nationally for her choreography, winning many choreography awards at both regional and national dance competitions throughout the country.

Damon began dancing in high school, and was a member of the acclaimed Jefferson Dancers. In LA he was a member of Gregg Russell's tap company "Tap Sounds Underground." He was on faculty at the Edge Performing Arts Center, and worked at Disney California Adventure Theme Park with "La Feet," a tap/drumming group.

Damon has been Featured in print ads with Nike and the Art Institute of Portland, performed in industrials for Sun Rider Products, Columbia Sportswear, Nike, and the Oregon Lottery, and performed in the Vans Invitational 2007 Mt. Dew Tour. Damon was co-founder of the Junior Blazer Dancers, and coached the team for its first 3 years. He has taught at Urban Jamm Dance Conventions, Groovestreet Productions, and Cross Connection dance Workshop.

 

 Damon Keller

Demetrius Keller

Demetrius began his dance training at the age of 14, and was a Jefferson Dancer while in high school. He was a member of the Northwest Afrikan-American Ballet Company, and was a dancer in the film "Men of Honor." He has performed with Savion Glover, and the late Gregory Hines.

Demetrius has been a licensed teacher in the Portland Public School district and taught dance at Jefferson High School and Sellwood Middle School. He has performed in industrials for Nike and the Oregon Lottery, and choreographed and performed with the Blazer Dancers. He was a co-founder of the Junior Blazer Dancers, and coached the team for its first 3 years. He has also performed at Project Dance in LA and NY, and the Vans invitational 2007 Mt. DewTour.

Tamara began her training at the Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet in Richland, WA and joined the Mid-Columbia Ballet when she was 13.  She primarily trained under Debra Rogo, she has also worked with Pacific Northwest Ballet's Patricia Barker, Noelani Pantastico, Nickolaus Ade and Lindsi Dec, choreographer Alan Hineline, The Balanchine Trust's Darla Hoover, and Artistic Director of The Ballet Classic of Havana's Laura Alonso.

Tamara has received scholarships to the Craft of Choreography Conference and the Utah Regional Ballet Summer Intensive. She has attended the American Ballet Theater Summer Intensive, and performed at the USA International Ballet Competition representing Regional Dance America.  Her performance credits include George Balanchine's Valse-Fantaisie, Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Les Sylphides, and many other non-classical works.

 Lorena Aranda

Hailing from Torreon, Mexico, Lorena was the artistic director and choreographer of the dance studio "Spazio di Ballo," leading the first Mexican dance company in 25 years to be invited to the elite dance festival TANZSOMMER in Vienna, Austria.

Lorena has worked with choreographers such as Tymme and Aury Reitz, Adam Parson, Eddie Garcia, Billy Goodson, Alex Magno, and Mandy Moore. Her video appearances include performing in the films "Angel Baby" and "Steps", as well as the television special "In Miami." She has danced with Latin artist "Brenda," and R&B artist "Joaquin." She has also performed at Project Dance in LA and NY, the Choreographers Carnival 2000 in LA, the Lose Angeles Dance Invitational, and the 2007 Mt. Dew Tour.

 

Cynthia began her career at Ballet Pacifica under Lila Zali, she was the youngest to receive a Ford Foundation Scholarship award to attend the school of American Ballet in New York City. Cynthia was invited to study with the Joffery Ballet, the School of American Ballet and the San Francisco Ballet.

Cynthia was a principal dancer with Chicago City Ballet and Chicago Lyric Opera under Maria Tallchief for four years before joining Boston Ballet as a soloist. There she partnered with Rudolph Nureyev in his production of Don Quixote. Cynthia has been teaching ballet in the Portland area for 24 years, including ten years as Artistic Director of Portland Community Ballet. Cynthia will be teaching intermediate to advance levels of ballet.
