Our goal is to provide the best training possible in order to produce strong versatile performers, with good people skills, that will enable them in a professional career in dance or any other avenue of their choosing.
Jazz
Clothing: Form-fitting, flexible attire (ie. leggings, dance shorts, tank top, or top)
Shoes: Jazz shoes or half-soles (no bare feet or socks)
Recommended jazz shoes: “Bloc Pulse Jazz Shoes”
Hair: Pulled back out of face in a ponytail or bun Equipment: yoga blocks & a small looped band
Tap
Clothing: Form-fitting, flexible attire (ie. leggings, dance shorts, tank top, or top)
Shoes: Black Tap Shoes
Hair: Pulled back out of face in a ponytail or bun
Ballet
Clothing: Girls: Black leotard, pink/skin-tone tights. Black form-fitting shorts/black skirt optional. Boys: white/black form-fitting top with black pants, leggings, or shorts
Shoes:
Girls: Pink satin/tone slippers that match tights.
Boys: white, black, or satin-tone slippers
Hair: Pulled back, out of face, secured in a tidy bun
Hip-Hop
Clothing: Relaxed/loose-fitted clothing. T-shirts, shorts, and/or sweats
Shoes: Street sneakers
Hair: Dancers choice! Where your hair however makes you feel most confident
Contemporary
Clothing: Form-fitting, flexible attire (ie. leggings, dance shorts, tank top, or top)
Shoes: Bare feet or dance socks
Hair: Pulled back out of face in a ponytail or bun
Acro
Clothing: Girls: sports bra/leotard required
Boys: Fitted shirts for boys and biker shorts or boxer briefs required underneath loose shorts
Shoes: Bare feet
Hair: Long hair tied up, bun/braid if hair touches the ground in handstand position
Rookie Classes
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes that they can move in! At this age, we want them to have fun and wear what makes them feel good. No power struggles necessary!
Shoes: Ballet shoes for ballet/jazz, tap shoes and regular street shoes for hip hop/tap
We have a borrow bin if you need shoes for your trial class!
Stretch & Strength
Clothing: Form-fitting, flexible attire (ie. leggings, dance shorts, tank top, or top)
Shoes: Bare feet
Hair: Pulled back out of face in a ponytail or bun Equipment: Yoga blocks, sliders, small loop bands, ankle weights, looped stretch band, lacrosse ball
Breaking
Clothing: Relaxed/loose-fitted clothing. T-shirts, shorts, and/or sweats
Shoes: Street sneakers
Hair: Dancers choice! Wear your hair however makes you feel most confident
